So I'm a little behind the movement. For some time now God's been wanting me to watch this film and dispel the works of satan. Today became that day. The Laws of Attraction..ie..The Secret.
This is an old wives tail of sorts. If you think, then you become. If you train your thoughts on a thing you want, you will eventually get it. That's their whole premise. This movie and principle is incorrect on several devious notes. One, it is based on MAN'S knowledge and wisdom, or understanding. Not God or His Word, which...is an absolute.
"The law of attraction will give you what YOU want every single time."
One major problems with this positive thinking bullshit, is that it leaves the Living God TOTALLY out of the picture. People who endorsed/endorse it....not a single person is a man or woman of God. Not one. Now I know you're thinking Joel Olsteen. A man I happened to totally believe has tapped into and teaches the power of positive thinking. The difference is that Joel bases his principals on God's Word. The Secret...does not...it is based upon humanistic self motivated, hope you got THAT...SELF motivated positive thinking. That is not of God period.
God said seek HIS Will FIRST, and all shall be added unto you.
The Secret, they profess, works every single time. That is just plain a lie from the pit. It's written by humanistic individuals of zero faith, except in themselves. They say, you want a car, think as though you have it? Are they SERIOUS??? I just had to laugh out loud at the entire thing.
Then, they try and back up their self involved/confessed idioms with famous people. Hey...I adore the writings of Randolph Waldo Emerson. But Emerson was a transcendentalist...a humanist. He didn't die rich. He died a pauper, in an almost pre 1980..just about unmarked grave. Einstein. Another humanist. So what's a humanist or transcendentalist? Some believe in God. But hey so does the devil and shudders. Or they don't believe in a god (because actually they are THEIR OWN god), but that their high intelligence and money make them accountable to help the world. Hello? Every rich Hollywood democrat you know or have heard of.
Want the truth about them? They're so stupid it would blow you away. Fact of the matter IS that Hollywood actors don't know WHO the heck they are, feel guilty about having what they do, so they find some cause to give themselves seemingly sacrificial to, so that they feel better about themselves, because deep down, they know they are no different than anyone else. Now that's the Hollywood REAL truth I experienced time after time, star and star. Not one of them did I respect or care to spend time with. They are mindless beings that pretend to be someone else in their roles and haven't a CLUE about who they are or what they really believe. And their egos? Please..........wink!
So now I'm half way through the movie, and I'm thinking, let's check out this Bob Proctor, who narrates and supports, and probably was an executive producer of the movie. And what do I find? THIS.....(Gotta tell you I was rolling on the floor)(My final comments below this...don't miss it, lol)

Robert (Bob) Proctor, is an American life coach and author of several books including the best seller You were Born Rich. His inspiration comes from Napolean Hill's Think and Grow Rich. Proctor is a high school dropout who worked a series of part time and low paying jobs. Proctor claims that within a year of reading Hill's book, he was earning over $100,000 per year.
Appearance in The Secret
Bob Proctor gained worldwide exposure for his appearance in the hit film 'The Secret' which revealed how to apply the law of attraction to gain success in all areas of a person's life.
When I was back in California last year, I met a ton of people who lived their life by The Secret. I kept thinking they all looked and acted like they were on Xanax. This false peace, look and way about them. And I'm talking some VERY famous and rich actors, actresses, movie producers, athletes. Reminds me again of the zombies in Night of Living Dead. EXACTLY.
God doesn't promise you'll get everything you want. And why is that? Because many of the things you want, aren't good for you. So people that leave out God from a formula like this, are out of God's Will, and creating and living under their own. Just remember it may SEEM like they have it all, but I so assure you that is the furthest thing from the or their truth. Trust Lee...better yet, trust God.
There are things and people I've prayed to have in my life. And God said..NO. Of course I didn't understand it at the time. But over the years I've come to really truly realize God knows without equivocation or doubt what is best for my life. Those of you close to me, know I live this, not just speak it.
Mankind comes up with all kinds of strange things and beliefs to placate their sinful and guilty feelings of worthlessness. This is just another. Reminds me of L. Ron Hubbard. When man strays from the path that God has for them, and leave him out of the equation, there is one result. Death. You try and be good and work for it. Jesus said it is not by WORKS you are saved, but through faith, and that in the Living God. No one comes to Father, but through the Son.
In conclusion, I think the ??? Delete It Pedia says it all. OMG just hysterical. God said he'd use the wisdom of the world to confound the (so called) wise. Amen to that Lord.
